First line of IT support for our offices — set up laptops, monitors and phones, keep printers and meeting rooms working, and solve the day-to-day technical problems of our staff.

About the role

This is an entry level role in our IT department and a good first step for someone starting a career in IT. You will be the person our colleagues come to when something does not work: a laptop that will not start, a monitor that shows no signal, a printer that is offline or a meeting room screen that refuses to connect. You will work next to our system administrators and network engineers, who will help you grow into more senior work over time.

Key responsibilities
  • Install, configure and hand over laptops, desktops, monitors, printers and desk phones for new and existing staff.
  • Answer help desk requests by phone, e-mail and in person, and log every request in the ticket system.
  • Solve everyday problems with Windows, Microsoft 365, e-mail, printing, VPN and office software.
  • Set up meeting rooms: projectors, screens, video conferencing and cabling.
  • Replace and repair basic hardware — keyboards, mice, cables, memory, hard drives, toner and consumables.
  • Create and disable user accounts and reset passwords under the guidance of the system administrator.
  • Keep the asset register of IT equipment up to date and manage spare stock.
  • Escalate anything you cannot solve to the senior IT team and follow it through to closure.
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in information technology, computer science or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Practical knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365; basic understanding of networks, printers and PC hardware.
  • Willing to work with your hands: assembling, cabling and moving equipment around the office.
  • Patient and polite with non-technical colleagues, and able to explain things in simple words.
  • Good written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Valid Saudi driving licence is an advantage — occasional visits to our other offices may be required.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Fundamentals or CCNA are welcome but not required.
What we offer
  • On-the-job training and a clear path towards system administration, networking or IT security.
  • Support towards professional certifications.
  • Medical insurance and the standard company benefits package.
  • A stable, full time position with one of the region's leading drilling and well services companies.
