Sawafi, along with its technical partner Borets International, sponsored the 4th Annual 2018 Middle East Artificial Lift Conference and Exhibition as the Official Smartphone Applications Sponsor. The event was held in Bahrain on the 28th and 29th of November 2018 and was organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), in cooperation and coordination with the National Oil and Gas Authority.
His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Minister of Oil, inaugurated the Conference last Wednesday on the November 28, 2018 where he welcomed the launch of global events in which various international companies and authorities take part in, whilst highlighting the key role this kind of event plays in supporting and strengthening the oil industry in the Middle East.
Throughout the Exhibition, Sawafi-Borets highlighted the latest oil technologies and solutions adopted in the artificial lift industry, in line with its aim to achieve its vision and objectives to provide new technical solutions and to add value through the use of technology. Sawafi sponsored the Conference’s integrated mobile application, allowing users to learn more about the Conference and Exhibition, as well as the participants and panels. The application allowed direct interaction with hosts and gave the attendance a chance to exchange experiences with them. The Middle East Artificial Lift Conference and Exhibition featured a distinguished group of subject-matter experts and directors of artificial lift industries in the conference to discuss the latest oil-related developments and techniques, as well as major challenges and success stories.
Sawafi-Borets Oil Products and Services Company is a Joint Venture (JV) between Sawafi Al Jazeera Oil & Gas Company, an Alturki Holding subsidiary, and Borets international. The JV will focus on providing all Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) related products & services to the Saudi Market. The services will include and are not limited to installing, monitoring, troubleshooting, dismantling, inspecting, repairing, assembling and testing for all ESP equipment and accessories.
